Biogena focuses on drugstore customers

The micronutrient manufacturer Biogena has developed a premium nutrient line exclusively for drugstore customers under the ‘get your wellbeing by Biogena’ brand together with Dm. In addition, another bond was launched to finance the company’s further growth.

In an interview with Gewinn, Biogena founder Albert Schmidbauer talks about the new ‘get your wellbeing by Biogena’ product line. He also explains the current corporate strategy, including the issue of a new bond to finance growth and the long-term expansion targets, including a possible IPO.

He emphasises Biogena’s positive business development, with sales growth of 27% last year and ambitious targets for the coming years. He also talks about the importance of preventive health and how the company is strategically positioning itself in the market to reach new customer groups.
