Regional instead of global: RYU Wasabi from southern Burgenland
Wasabi is a staple of sushi and other Japanese dishes. Naturally, this Japanese horseradish, also known as water radish, grows in the swampy regions along the banks of streams in Japan. Interestingly, the ‘Japanese radish’ is also cultivated in southern Burgenland.
