What sets VITUS apart is the highly sustainable, circular system behind every mushroom. These premium mushrooms are grown on a substrate consisting primarily of sawdust and wood shavings from the timber industry—effectively utilizing existing byproducts. Harvesting is done entirely by hand. Afterward, the substrate is composted and returned to the soil as nutrient-rich humus. This process ensures a product designed with consumers, animals, and the environment in mind.
