The year 1995 marked a milestone in the company’s history: Vifon became the first company in Vietnam—and one of the first worldwide—to introduce steam-cooking technology. Instead of deep-frying, the rice noodles are gently steamed. The result is oil-free, gluten-free noodles with a better texture and a significantly healthier profile than conventional instant noodles. This innovation redefined the product category and remains a key differentiator for the brand to this day.
